San Antonio - Junior midfielder Emily Donnan has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Donnan helped pace the third-ranked Tigers to two SCAC shutouts last week, over Southwestern University and Centenary College.

Trinity (11-0-1, 6-0-0 SCAC) has won 10 consecutive games and posted seven straight shutouts (eight overall). The Tigers allowed only three total shots from the two opponents. Donnan and the stingy Tiger defense did not permit Centenary to make a shot in last Friday's home victory. In the six conference games, Trinity has yielded just seven total shots and has a clean sheet in all of the matchups.

Donnan has scored one goal this season, contributing to the offensive cause.

The Tigers host NAIA member Our Lady of the Lake University tonight at 7. Next weekend, the defending SCAC champion Tigers go on the road to take on Centenary Friday at Shreveport, Louisiana.
