San Antonio - Trinity seniors Yasmeen Farra and Jordan Leeper have been named the respective Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.

Playing in their final regular-season home games, the two Tigers made their mark in third-ranked Trinity's three SCAC shutout victories last week. Trinity started the week with a 3-0 win over Schreiner (TX) University.  Over the weekend, the Tigers blanked Austin (TX) College 7-0, and then defeated Centenary (LA) College 12-0.

Farra scored four goals last week, netting two scores in the first half of each game against Austin and Centenary. In Sunday's win over Centenary, Farra scored two of the first three goals of the game, including the game-winning goal.  This season, Farra has scored nine goals and three assists, totaling 21 points.  She has also recorded a team-leading three game-winning goals.

Leeper and the defense have now posted eight consecutive shutout wins, and 11 total clean sheets this season.  The Tigers have yielded just three goals over 14 games.  The versatile Leeper also contributed to the team's offensive cause by scoring a goal - her first of the season - and accounting for two assists in the win over Centenary. She is also tied for the team lead with seven assists this year.

Trinity is undefeated with a 14-0-0 overall record, and is 8-0-0 in the SCAC. The Tigers continue their SCAC campaign next weekend at Southwestern (TX) University and Texas Lutheran University.
