Belton, Texas - The third-ranked Trinity women's soccer team posted a 3-1 non-conference decision over the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Tuesday night.
MATCH SUMMARY
Colleen Markey opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 19th minute of play.
Halleanne Dure and Tierney Thomison teamed up for the eventual game-winner late in the first half, giving the Tigers a 2-0 lead at halftime.
After UMHB got on the board early in the second period, Hannah Booher finished the scoring in the 71st minute, assisted by Yasmeen Farra.
NOTABLES
The Tigers remained undefeated at 6-0-0, while the Crusaders stand at 4-2-1.
Markey amassed her fifth goal of the campaign, and is the top scorer for the Tigers so far this season.
Dure scored her second goal of the season, and the first game-winner. Tierney Thomison posted her second assist of the year.
Kalli Douma recorded three saves in the game, with two coming in the first half. Douma now has eight saves on the year, while yielding just three goals over six games.

Trinity resumes Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship play next weekend. The Tigers head to Sherman, Texas, to take on Austin College on Friday. The road trip concludes in Shreveport, Louisiana, as Trinity meets Centenary College on Sunday afternoon.
