San Antonio - The Trinity women's team and five individual players earned All-Academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

The Tiger women's team earned the ITA All-Academic Team award for the 2016-17 school year. This honor is given to ITA programs who successfully earn a cumulative team grade point average of a 3.20 or higher during both the fall and spring semesters. Ashley Debauge, Mary Kaffen, Zoe Kaffen, Marie Lutz, and Elena Wilson were also honored as ITA Scholar-Athletes for their contributions on the women's team while maintaining a GPA of 3.50 or higher. 

The 16th-ranked women's tennis team competed in their sixth consecutive berth in the NCAA Division III Championship. Trinity wrapped up the season with a 17-8 record, which included a 21st Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship.
