San Antonio - Tiger midfielder Chelsea Cole has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Cole turned in superb performances during the week as the sixth-ranked Tigers first defeated Concordia (TX) University 5-0 on Monday, and then capped off the week with a 6-0 shutout of the University of Dallas (TX) in a SCAC meeting.

The talented junior scored the game-winning goals in both games, piling up four goals and two assists total in the two Trinity victories. Cole began with a goal and an assist in the Concordia game, then finished with three goals for her first career hat trick against Dallas on Friday. That feat marked the ninth consecutive season that at least one Tiger women's soccer player has produced a hat trick.

This season, Cole is the team leader with five goals and two game-winners, and she also chalked up her first two assists of the campaign.

Trinity (5-1-0, 1-0-0 SCAC) will play two SCAC road games next weekend, taking on Texas Lutheran University and Southwestern (TX) University.
