San Antonio - Trinity senior Cheyenne Duncan and junior Caroline Kutach have been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.

Last weekend, Duncan and Kutach won the #3 match to begin 19th-ranked Trinity's sweep of doubles against Southwestern (TX) University. The Tigers went on to defeat the Pirates 6-3 at Georgetown, Texas, and improved their overall record to 11-10.

This season, Duncan and Kutach stand at 7-5 as a doubles team and is also on a five-match win streak.

Trinity will defend its conference title this weekend at the SCAC Championship at Colorado Springs, Colorado. The top-seeded Tigers have earned a bye to the semifinals, and will take on the winner of fourth-seeded host Colorado College and #5 Texas Lutheran University on Saturday. The championship matchup is slated for Sunday with the winner guaranteed a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
