SAN ANTONIO - The Women's Swimming and Diving team collected their second dual win of the season after defeating Division II opponent University of Texas Permian Basin by a score of 212-85.
Katarina Partalas (San Antonio, Texas / Reagan) won the one meter diving event with a score of 271.65. Gabi Fulk (Scottsdale, Ariz. / Horizon) rounded out the top three with a score of 256.70. Fulk also took second place in the three meter dive with a score of 240.95. Victoria Nguyen (Portland, Ore. / Jesuit) took third place in the three meter dive with a score of 237.25.
The quartet of Mabel Fowler (Uvalde, Texas / Uvalde), Jadyn Trahan (League City, Texas / Clear Springs), Morgen Reyna (Houston, Texas / Stratford) and Emma Hagan (Overland Park, Kan. / Olathe East) earned a first place finish in the 400 yard medley relay by finishing with a time of 3:59.80. The grouping of Emily Baggett (Kingwood, Texas / Kingwood), Josie Gillentine (Heath, Texas / Rockwall Heath), Caroline Westholder (Minneapolis, Minn. / Edina) and Kara Moss (Houston, Texas / Stratford) rounded out the top three with a time of 4:14.23 in the 400 yard medley relay.
Blythe Iverson (Aurora, Colo. / Smoky Hill) paced her way to a time of 11:17.15 in the 1000 yard freestyle to take first place. Anabelle Conde (Houston, Texas / Saint Agnes Academy) took second in the same event with a time of 11:29.88.
Fowler grabbed her first individual win of the afternoon with a time of 1:56.04 in the 200 yard freestyle. Reyna was not far behind with a time of 1:58.41 in the same event. Meghan Magill (Longmont, Colo. / Silver Creek) took second place in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:04.81.
Trahan notched her first individual win of the day by touching the wall in 1:07.96 in the 100 yard breaststroke. Moss rounded out the top three in that event with a time of 1:10.52. Caroline Myers (Austin, Texas / Bowie) and Westholder took the top two spots in the 200 yard butterfly with times of 2:14.67 and 2:17.66.
Hagan took first in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle with times of 24.77 and 53.38. Reyna finished second in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 54.38.
Fowler picked up her second individual win of the day in the 200 yard backstroke. The senior raced to a time of 2:07.49. Libby Goode (League City, Texas / Clear Creek) took third in the same event with a time of 2:22.37.
Gillentine and Moss took first and third place in the 200 yard breaststroke with times of 2:30.04 and 2:31.48. Magill, Conde and Iverson occupied the first three spots in the 500 yard freestyle. Magill touched the wall in 5:27.25 while Conde and Iverson finished with times of 5:31.54 and 5.33.47.
Myers, Elizabeth Molique (Scottsdale, Ariz. / Saguaro) and Logann Khollman (Austin, Texas / Lake Travis) finished top three in the 100 yard butterfly. Myers touched the wall first with a time of 1:00.52 while Molique and Kollman touched the wall in 1:04.19 and 1:05.11. Trahan grabbed her second win of the afternoon in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:20.22. Westholder finished that race second with a time of 2:20.31 while Karin Petersen (Cibolo, Texas / Randolph) touched the wall in 2:22.36.

The women will split up and send some swimmers and divers to the Division III Shootout in Chicago, Illinois and the remainder of the team to Colorado College on November 5-6 to compete with conference opponents.
