CHICAGO - Trinity Women's Swimming and Diving split up over the past two days to compete at the D3 Shootout in Chicago while the rest of the squad traveled to Colorado College for a dual with a conference opponent. At the D3 Shootout, Trinity finished in fifth place with a team score of 308. The Tigers lost the dual to Colorado College by a score of 119-102.
Day Two D3 Shootout
The quartet of Mabel Fowler (Uvalde, Texas / Uvalde), Jadyn Trahan (League City, Texas / Clear Springs), Caroline Myers (Austin, Texas / Bowie) and Emma Hagan (Overland Park, Kan. / Olathe East) took fifth place in the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 3:55.03.
Fowler raced to a second place finish in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:03.97. Fowler also took third in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.46.
Hagan sprinted to a fourth place finish in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 52.27.
The grouping of Hagan, Myers, Josie Gillentine (Heath, Texas / Rockwall Heath) and Morgen Reyna (Houston, Texas / Stratford) placed third in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:28.37.
Day One Colorado College Dual
Gabi Fulk (Scottsdale, Ariz. / Horizon) placed third in the three meter dive with a score of 246.23. Fulk also took third in the ne meter dive with a score of 249.75. Alexis Radhakrishnan (Lexington, Ky. / Paul Laurence Dunbar) took second in the one meter dive with a score of 254.70.
Kara Moss (Houston, Texas / Stratford) won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.56. Anabelle Conde (Houston, Texas / Saint Agnes Academy) placed second in the 1000 yard freestyle by pacing to a time of 11:43.99.
Libby Goode (League City, Texas / Clear Creek) swam to a third place finish in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.58. Goode also won the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 57.89.
Elizabeth Molique (Scottsdale, Ariz. / Saguaro) touched the wall in 26.83 to finish second in the 50 yard freestyle. Caroline Westholder (Minneapolis, Minn. / Edina) placed third in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.80.
The grouping of Goode, Molique, Westholder and Emily Baggett (Kingwood, Texas / Kingwood) swam to a first place finish in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:46.08.
Day Two Colorado College Dual
Brooklyn Fuscone (Hoffman Estates, Ill. / Hoffman Estates) won the one meter diving event with a score of 293.40. Radhakrishnan took third place with a score of 272.70.
Baggett, Moss, Westholder and Molique took second place in the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 4:17.38. Conde and Emily Bartylla (Granite Bay, Calif. / St. Francis) took first and third in the 200 yard freestyle with times of 2:07.24 and 2:08.88.
Logann Khollman (Austin, Texas / Lake Travis) raced to a second place finish in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 26.52. Moss took first place in the 200 yard IM by touching the wall in 2:19.19. Karin Petersen (Cibolo, Texas / Randolph) finished third in the same event. Moss also won the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:40.06.
Westholder came in second in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:20.56. Molique claimed an individual win in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 58.17. Goode raced to a time of 2:28.60 in the 200 yard backstroke to claim third place. Petersen paced her way to a first place finish in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:34.72.
