LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity University Women's Tennis senior duo Mary Kaffen and Zoe Kaffen (San Juan Capistrano, Calif. / Jserra Catholic) have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Doubles Team of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

The twin Tigers went 2-0 in doubles play last weekend as they opened SCAC play with a line-one 8-1 victory over Texas Lutheran's Mary Eby and Kaitlyn Enloe, then scored a 7-6 (7-4) decision against NCAA I Air Force Saturday for the Tigers' lone victorious line against the Falcons. The duo sits undefeated against NCAA III opponents (3-0), 4-4 overall.

Tuesday's announcement marks the fourth time the two-time ITA All-Americans have won SCAC Doubles Team of the Week together in their careers.

The Tigers swept the SCAC Weekly Awards on February 9 making Mary and Zoe the fourth and fifth different Tigers to have been named for a conference weekly honor this season.

Trinity Women's Tennis heads to East Texas Baptist University to resume NCAA III action Saturday as part of a two-match road trip featuring University of Texas-Dallas on Sunday.
