CLAREMONT, Calif. - No. 19 Trinity University Women's Tennis fell in shutout fashion on the road to Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on its second day in the metro Los Angeles area Saturday.
The Tigers (4-3) faced their toughest adversary of the season in the Sagehens who featured three top-ten nationally ranked matchups across the combined nine lines of play, all of which ranked seventh or higher by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association following last fall's individual play.
Trinity Women's Tennis rounds out its weekend visit to So. Cal. Sunday as it ventures across the street to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges for another battle against nationally-prominent foes.
