SAN ANTONIO – Trinity University Softball will face University of Dallas in their final home conference series of the regular season.
The Tigers (7-26; 4-10 SCAC) fell in all three of their weekend games to No. 3 Texas Lutheran University (April 14-15).
Junior
Marina Delaluna (Concord, Calif. / Concord) smashed a solo homer in game two to give the Tigers their only lead of the series. That home run made Delaluna Trinity's all-time leader in career home runs, breaking a tie with Caitlynn Dykes that was reached just one week prior in the Tigers' series against University of St. Thomas.
First-year
Carsyn Lee (Flower Mound, Texas / Flower Mound) added another hit and RBI in game two, adding the second of Trinity's two runs on the weekend. Lee is hitting .321 and has knocked in 20 RBI so far this season, the highest on the team.
Junior
Dawson Dabboussi (Dallas, Texas / Highland Park) also helped lead the offense last weekend with her three hits, contributing two of the team's six in game two and the lone hit of game three. Dabboussi has the highest batting average for the Tigers on the season, hitting .403 with 27 hits and 12 RBI.
First-year
Jordan Arce (Thousand Oaks, Calif. / Thousand Oaks) started game two in the circle, putting away the first seven batters she faced. She also allowed just one run on four hits through the first four frames of the Tigers lone game on Saturday to keep the Bulldogs to a 1-0 lead for the first half of the game.

On the Crusaders: Dallas is currently at the bottom of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference standings with a record of 0-15 in league play.
The Crusaders team is primarily underclassmen with just one junior and one senior on their full roster. First-years Katie Duffy-Relf and Mariah Hinojosa have 40 combined RBI and together have three of the team's four home runs on the season.

Trinity Softball finishes their regular season with a trip to Sherman, Texas to play Austin College (April 28-29) in one final SCAC series.
The 2023 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship will be hosted by Trinity May 5-7 at the newly renovated TU Softball Field.
