No. 14 Tiger Women's Tennis is back in action for the spring season as they take on the University of the Incarnate Word this Friday.

The Tigers finished their fall season by claiming regional titles in singles and doubles. The Tigers would dominate and send multiple Tiger players to the semi-finals in both events.
Ruth Hill (Abilene, Texas / Abilene) would have her hand in both events as she took the singles title as well as the doubles title with the help of her partner
Olivia Kim (Phoenix, Arizona / Desert Mountain). Hill would make it all the way to the quarter-finals in the ITA Cup before she was defeated.

The Tigers will face off against Incarnate Word on Friday, January 26th. The last time the Tigers and Cardinals faced off was in the 2022 spring season where the Cardinals defeated the Tigers by a score of 2-5.

On the Incarnate Word Cardinals: The Cardinals have struggled so far against their fellow NCAA I competition. The Cardinals have started the spring season already as they fell to the University of North Florida 2-5 on January 19th. The Cardinals are unranked so far this season but the Tigers are 0-8 all time against the Cardinals and have not won more than three games in a match.Â
