Johnny Milo (The Woodlands, Texas / Caney Creek) scored the lone offensive touchdown for Trinity.

Preview - Kentucky Rain
Â
Trinity will take a trip to Danville, Kentucky and play their first conference game of the season. Toe will hit leather at 1:00 PM (ET) and the Tigers and Colonels will face off.
Â
On the Centre College Colonels: The Colonels have a 2-1 overall record this season. Most recently, Centre lost a close game to Hampden-Sydney, 38-34. However, they previously secured victories against Hanover and Maryville. This season, the Colonels' ground game has been nearly nonexistent, averaging just 43 yards per game and only 1.8 yards per carry. In contrast, Jack Gohmann has been solid in the passing game, completing 60 percent of his passes and averaging 255 yards per game. He has thrown all nine of Centre's touchdowns this season, and the team will rely heavily on his arm to secure victories.
Defensively, the Colonels are known for their ability to create turnovers, having collected six interceptions so far this season, including two games with multiple interceptions. However, all of their touchdowns allowed this season have come through the air. Sophomore defensive back Mario Brewer Jr. leads the team with 18 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks. The Colonels plan to blitz Brewer off the edge to leverage his speed against slower offensive linemen, aiming to create one-on-one opportunities.
Centre ranks seventh nationally in team sacks and fourth in tackles for loss. The Tigers have a record of 2-4 in games played in Danville since 2009 and hold a historical advantage over Centre, with a 19-11 record and a four-game winning streak against them.
