No. 9 Tiger Women's Tennis will play a single match this week against No. 10 Washington University in St. Louis.
The Tigers (9-2) are coming off of a nearly two-week break after playing six matches in seven days. Trinity went 4-2 in their six-match stretch with three of those wins coming against ranked opponents.
Cate Cushing (Colleyville, Texas / Heritage) and
Trinity Levy (Camarillo, California / Weil Tennis Academy) were dominant during the stint, going 4-2 with impressive wins over Skidmore and Swarthmore.
Preview - Tigers vs Bears
The Tigers will hop on the court against WashU on Friday, March 29th starting at 3:30 PM.
On the No. 10 WashU Bears: The Bears are 8-2 this season. WashU is 3-1 against ranked teams this season with wins over Caltech, Bowdoin, and Chapman. The Bears fell to top-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 3-6. The other loss for WashU came from falling 1-8 to NCAA I Illinois State University. The top-ranked players for the Bears are the doubles team of Eliana Hanna and Amber Edmonds. The duo is ranked 21st overall amongst NCAA III doubles teams. The Tigers are 4-3 against the Bears since 2011 after winning the last three matches, including a 5-4 win last season.

The Tigers will travel to Atlanta, Georgia to play against Babson and Emory on April 6th and 7th.
