Box Score ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - No. 16 Tiger Women's Tennis comes up short against No. 5 Emory University on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Tigers (16-5) dropped their third-round match 1-5. Trinity had early momentum in doubles as Ellie Hughes (Austin, Texas / Vandergrift) and Rosabella Andrade (Southlake, Texas / Ponderosa) took the #3 line 8-3. However, Ruth Hill (Abilene, Texas / Abilene) and Olivia Kim (Phoenix, Arizona / Desert Mountain) dropped their match in #1 doubles 3-8 while Trinity Levy (Camarillo, Calif. / Weil Tennis Academy) and Cate Cushing (Colleyville, Texas / Heritage) suffered the same fate at the #2 line.
 
In singles, Hughes lost in #2 singles 0-6, 0-2 and Cushing fell in the sixth line of singles 2-6, 1-6. In #4 singles, Kim was defeated 2-6, 4-6 and Emory clinched the match.

Hill and Kim will compete in the doubles bracket of the NCAA Championships. Hill will also have a shot to win the singles title. Both events will take place on May 25-27 in St. Louis, Missouri.
