LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 11th-ranked Trinity University volleyball team had two players earn American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Region honors for the 2025 season.

Reagan Whatley (The Woodlands, Texas / The Woodlands) was joined by junior right-side
Courtney Pope (New Braunfels, Texas / Canyon) in representing the Tigers as First Team All-Region players this season.
Whatley was the Southern Athletic Association Offensive Athlete of the Year and a First Team All-SAA selection this year. She led the team with 306 kills (3.40/set), while also serving up a team-best 41 aces, and finishing second with 274 digs (3.04/set). Whatley also racked up a total of 372.5 points (4.14/set) and tallied 49 blocks.
Pope earned First Team All-Region honors for the second straight year and was an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American in 2024, while being named a First Team All-SAA player for the Tigers this season. She was second on the team behind Whatley with 230 kills (2.53/set) and 263.0 points (2.89/set), while leading Trinity with a .312 hitting percentage, and also contributing 63 blocks.
Trinity earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Playoffs after winning the SAA Regular Season Championship and will head into the NCAA Regional Tournament with a record of 22-5. The Tigers open this weekend's tournament, which is hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, against Manhattanville University (NY) on Thursday, November 20, at 2:00 p.m. (ET). The winner moves on to play on Friday at 4:30 p.m. (ET) and the Regional Championship will be on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. (ET).
