On the Austin College 'Roos: The 'Roos have struggled to start the season going 0-8 in their first eight games. They come off of their trip to California, where they went 0-6 by dropping doubleheaders against Chapman, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, and Pomona-Pitzer. Freshman Jadyn Myers has been a bright spot for the Austin College lineup, batting a solid .313 from the dish in seventeen at bats. The 'Roos will likely turn to senior pitcher Alexus Johson, who has pitched a team high 16.1 innings this season so far. Austin College has struggled to get balls in play this year which has led to the team batting .177 collectively. The Kangaroo pitching staff has also struggled to hold down opposing offenses and a majority of their games have been lost via the run rule. Last year the Tigers swept the 'Roos in San Antonio.
