The 8th-ranked Trinity University Women's Tennis Team continued their excellent form, overpowering the OLLU Saints with a dominant 5-2 victory in an exhibition match at
Butch Newman Stadium. The Tigers are currently 16-3 as they head into the final weekend of the regular season.

The Tigers prepare for their final matches of the 2025 season as they travel to St. Louis to face No. 14 Washington University in St. Louis on Friday, April 18, at 3 p.m. The Tigers will then return to action the following day to face No. 41 Grinnell College at 10 a.m. to close out their regular season campaign.
On the No. 14 WashU Bears: The Bears are 9-6 this year with notable wins coming against No. 7 Carnegie Mellon 4-3, No. 21 Sewanee 4-0, No. 26 Kenyon 7-2, No. 35 Gustavus Adolphus 7-0, No. 46 Rhodes 9-0, and No. 61 Wisconsin-Eau Claire 9-0. The Bears have suffered six defeats this season, all coming against top-16 opposition. The Bears have been defeated by No. 1 Chicago 1-6, No. 2 Claremont-mudd-scripps 1-6, No. 3 Emory 3-4, No. 9 Johns Hopkins 3-4. No. 13 Bowdoin 3-4, and No. 16 MIT 2-5. The Bears will look to freshman Caitlin Bui to get on the board. On the No. 41 Grinnell Pioneers: The Pioneers are 10-6 this spring with notable wins coming against University of Minnesota-Duluth 6-1 (Division 2), No. 29 Denison 4-3, No. 61 Wisconsin-Eau Claire 9-0, and No. 68 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 6-3. The Pioneers have suffered six defeats this season, including No. 7 Carnegie Mellon 0-7, No. 19 Case Western Reserve 0-7, No. 19 Whitman 0-7, and No. 21 Sewanee 1-6. The Pioneers will look to sophomore Pari Chavan to get on the board. Chavan is 4-7 in singles and 5-5 in doubles, with her most notable singles victories coming against No. 49 Bethel 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 and No. 61 Wisconsin-Eau Claire 6-4, 6-3. Her most notable defeats have come at the hands of No. 7 Carnegie Mellon 3-6, 0-6, No. 19 Case Western Reserve 2-6, 1-6, and No. 19 Whitman 3-6, 6-3, 10-5.
