TEMPE, Ariz. – Trinity University women's tennis standouts
Trinity Levy (Camarillo, Calif. / Weil Tennis Academy) and
Rosabella Andrade (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) both received honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), highlighting their exceptional performances throughout the 2025 season.
Levy was named the West Region ITA Player to Watch, while Andrade earned the West Region ITA Most Improved Player award. The doubles partners finished the year with a 14-8 record in dual matches this spring, playing the top line doubles position all season long. The Tiger duo also won three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Doubles Team of the Week awards during the year, earning both First Team All-SCAC recognition and SCAC All-Tournament honors in doubles.
Andrade also earned the SCAC Singles Player of the Week honor twice in 2025. She was the SCAC Freshman of the Year and a First Team All-SCAC single player in 2024, earning SCAC All-Tournament accolades in both singles and doubles last year as well. Andrade has now won five SCAC Doubles Team of the Week honors to go with her two awards for Singles. In addition to her 14-8 record in doubles with Levy, Andrade also finished the season with a 16-4 record in singles play.
Levy led Trinity with team best 18 wins in singles (18-2 record) this season and was named to the SCAC All-Tournament Team in both singles and doubles, as well as picking up First Team All-SCAC honors in singles and doubles for the third consecutive season. A 2023 ITA All-American in doubles, Levy was the SCAC Freshman of the Year in 2023, winning the ITA Regional Doubles Championship in the Fall of 2022.
The 12th-ranked Trinity women's tennis team finished the season with a 21-5 overall record, winning the SCAC Championship and reaching the Third Round of the NCAA Playoffs for the second straight year.
