GILBERT, Ariz. – Trinity University's women's tennis team has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence, earning the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team distinction for the 2024–25 academic year.
In addition to the team honor, five Trinity student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes:
Rosabella Andrade (Southlake, Texas / Carroll),
Ruth Hill (Abilene, Texas / Abilene),
Ellie Hughes (Austin, Texas / Vandegrift),
Trinity Levy (Camarillo, Calif. / Weil Tennis Academy), and
Sam Miller (Georgetown, Texas / Georgetown).
The ITA All-Academic Team award is presented to programs that maintain a team GPA of 3.2 or higher, factoring in all varsity letter winners. Individual Scholar-Athlete recognition requires a GPA of at least 3.5 and inclusion on the institutional eligibility form.
Trinity joins over 130 Division III women's programs nationwide in receiving the All-Academic Team designation, while more than 1,000 student-athletes earned individual honors this year.
