No. 11 Tiger Women's Tennis Hosts OLLU Friday Afternoon
The No. 11 Trinity University Tigers Women's Tennis returns to the
Butch Newman Tennis Center on Friday, February 20, hosting Our Lady of the Lake University Saints Women's Tennis at 3:00 p.m.
Trinity enters the matchup with strong momentum after a 7-0 sweep over UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs Women's Tennis. The Tigers controlled doubles early and carried that rhythm through singles, continuing to show depth and composure across the lineup.
OLLU comes in battle tested after a competitive match against Saint Mary's. The Saints pushed hard in doubles, earning a win at the No. 3 position and narrowly dropping another court 7-5. In singles, they showed resilience in multiple three-set battles, highlighted by a comeback victory at No. 4. OLLU plays with grit and will compete for every point, making early focus and discipline key for Trinity.
For the Tigers, Friday is about staying sharp at home and building consistency. Establishing momentum in doubles and maintaining pressure through singles will be important as Trinity looks to continue strengthening its early-season form.

Trinity heads on the road next weekend for a major test, traveling to face Carnegie Mellon University Women's Tennis on Saturday, February 28 at 11:00 AM (ET), and Case Western Reserve University Women's Tennis on Sunday, March 1 at 11:00 AM (ET).
