The No. 11 Trinity University Tigers Women's Tennis returns to Butch Newman Tennis Center this week following a successful spring break stretch. Trinity will host No. 36 Colorado College on Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 p.m., before facing No. 22 Wellesley College Women's Tennis on Wednesday, March 18 at 5:30 p.m.
The Tigers enter the week with momentum after three strong wins during spring break. Trinity defeated Haverford 7-0, followed with a 5-2 win over Swarthmore, and closed the week with a 6-1 victory against Skidmore. The stretch featured wins over multiple nationally ranked programs and showed consistency throughout the lineup.
Colorado College arrives ranked No. 36 nationally and has competed well early this season. The program has steadily built its national presence and brings a balanced lineup that will look to challenge across both doubles and singles.
The following evening Trinity faces No. 22 Wellesley. Wellesley enters the matchup with a 4-1 record this season and has been strong in dual match play, particularly at home. The meeting will be another opportunity for Trinity to compete against a nationally ranked opponent as the season continues to build.
These back-to-back matches continue a busy portion of Trinity's spring schedule as the Tigers remain at home in San Antonio. Both matchups are another opportunity to compete against nationally ranked opponents as the season progresses.
