No. 11 Tiger Women’s Tennis Hits The Road To Open SAA Play

The No. 11 Trinity University Tigers Women's Tennis heads back on the road this weekend for matches at Centre College on Saturday, March 28 and Sewanee on Sunday, March 29.

Last Time

The Tigers are coming off two strong home wins, defeating No. 36 Colorado College Women's Tennis 5–2 before sweeping No. 22 Wellesley College Women's Tennis 7–0.

Against Colorado College, Trinity battled through several tight matches and showed control in key moments to secure the win. While the final score was 5–2, multiple courts were competitive, and the Tigers handled those pressure situations well to pull away and close out the match.

The following day, Trinity delivered one of its most complete performances of the season against a strong Wellesley team. Facing a top-25 opponent, the Tigers stayed composed across the lineup and controlled singles play to secure the 7–0 result. The match reflected both the team's depth and its ability to stay focused and compete at a high level throughout.

Preview

Centre enters the weekend with a 5-4 record and has been competitive in dual matches this season. Playing at home, they have shown the ability to stay steady in doubles and compete through singles.

Sewanee sits at 5-5 on the year and has played a balanced schedule to this point. The team has picked up results in both doubles and singles, with several close matches throughout the spring.

The two-match trip continues a stretch of road play for Trinity as the Tigers move into the beach half or the season.
