SAN ANTONIO – Trinity University recognized Senior Administrative Support Specialist for Athletics Stacey Lenderman with the prestigious President's Award for Exceptional Service to Students in recognition of her unwavering commitment to student success.

The award, sponsored by Trinity University President Vanessa B. Beasley, recognizes faculty and staff members whose dedication positively impacts students both inside and outside the classroom. Lenderman was recognized during a special ceremony attended by students and their families.

Lenderman has been a cornerstone of the Trinity Athletics Department, known for her holistic approach to supporting student-athletes. She is widely respected for taking the time to get to know each student individually, understanding their interests, strengths and needs, and offering consistent guidance and encouragement throughout their college experience.

Her contributions extend far beyond administrative responsibilities. A longtime advisor to the Trinity Cheerleaders, the Prowlers Dance Team, and the Trinity Stand Band, Lenderman has served as a mentor, advocate and supporter, regularly attending games, helping secure uniforms and ensuring the team has the resources needed to succeed. Across the athletics department, she is regarded as the person who makes things happen, bringing energy, efficiency and a positive attitude to every challenge.

With a reputation for warmth and approachability, Lenderman is often described as someone who lifts others during difficult moments. Her ability to anticipate student needs and mobilize campus partners has led to meaningful initiatives, including coordinating meals and celebrations for students engaged in summer research and supporting student-athletes who remain on campus during winter break.

Lenderman consistently leverages relationships across campus to enhance the student experience, creating environments where students feel seen, valued and supported. Her efforts have had a lasting impact on generations of Trinity students, shaping their time at the university and influencing their success beyond graduation.

The President's Award for Exceptional Service to Students is one of Trinity University's highest recognitions for staff and faculty contributions to student life.
