The Cup recognizes the all-sports champion among SAA member institutions with points awarded according to each program's finish in the regular season standings. Affiliate members count in figuring each sport's standings but are not eligible for the Commissioner's Cup.
Trinity won 13 SAA Regular Season Championships and piled up a remarkable 140 points in the standings, which is the most in the league since 2015 and the most ever in the current scoring structure. Centre College (KY) was second with 111.5 points and no other school reached 100 points during the 2025-26 season.
The Tigers won fall championships in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball. In the winter, Trinity won a share of the men's basketball championship, the outright women's basketball title, men's and women's swimming & diving, and women's indoor track & field. The spring season featured three more championships for Trinity, winning baseball, a share of softball, and women's tennis.
This is the 15th consecutive all-sports conference championship for Trinity University, following a 14-year streak in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference that ended when the Tigers joined the SAA for the 2025-26 school year.
