San Antonio -- The Trinity Tigers women placed four players on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team.
 
Trinity (9-9), led by third-year head Coach Ryan Takao, took third place at last month's SCAC Championship Tournament at North Little Rock, Ark.
 
The Tigers, ranked 25th nationally, were edged 5-4 by Sewanee:The University of the South in the semifinals, and bounced back to defeat Centre 6-3 in the third-place match.
 
First-year player Kyle Hornbeck (Kansas City, Mo./St. Teresa's Academy) earned the Trinity slot at No. 4 singles. Lavinia Bendandi (Bologna, Italy/IMG Bolletieri Academy),was honored at No. 6 singles.
 
Junior Kassie Seger (Boise, Idaho/Dallas Bishop Kelly) and senior Erin Jamison (St. Louis/St. Joseph's Academy) represented the Tigers at No. 3 doubles.
 
All players were undefeated at their positions.
