The Tigers had strong performances on the pitch all weekend. Although temperatures were hot, the Tigers still pushed through and defeated their opponents. The Tigers opened up game one on fire. Before the Comets could even blink, sophomore
Adam Knutson (Dripping Springs, Texas / Dripping Springs) had already found the back of the net twice. Then,
Zach Anderson (Davis, California / Davis) found his groove to put a miraculous shot in and score his first goal of the season. But the Tigers weren't done, junior
Michael Meese (Williamsburg, Virginia / Jamestown) also scored for a Tiger 4-1 victory. The Tigers were excellent at finding their teammates,
Luke Mayfield (Dallas, Texas / JJ Pearce) collected an assist while
Chen Adjei (Euless, Texas / Trinity) and
Jesus Veloz (Dallas, Texas / Lone Star) had two.Â
Â
Game two was more of the same for the Tigers, finding the back of the net. Senior
Pieter Blank (The Hague, The Netherlands / Dalton Voorburg) and junior
Hunter Cain (Katy, Texas / Cinco Ranch) each scored their first goal of the season. Meese added another to his total, making that three on the season.Â
