223 Trinity Athletes Named to SCAC Academic Honor Roll

SUWANEE, Ga. – Trinity University had 223 student-athletes named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Academic Honor Roll across the winter and spring sports seasons to close out the 2024-25 school year.

The spring semester saw 164 Trinity student-athletes earn recognition – the highest single-semester total by any institution in SCAC history. An additional 59 Tigers were honored for their academic achievements during the winter term, bringing Trinity's combined total to the top of the conference as well.

To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA for the term and be a regular member of a varsity team in a sport sponsored by the SCAC. Since the SCAC Academic Honor Roll's inception in 1997, Trinity has consistently led the way in recognizing student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom.

The 223 Tiger honorees represented 12 different Trinity teams, which also brought home six SCAC Championships and made 11 appearances in the NCAA postseason. The successful spring semester in the classroom also saw Trinity secure its 14th straight and 25th overall SCAC Presidents' Trophy Championship, as well as a spot in the top 25 of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Learfield Directors' Cup.
