NEW ORLEANS – Trinity University's men's and women's track & field programs have once again demonstrated their commitment to academic and athletic excellence, earning All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2025 season.
To qualify for the team award, programs must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or higher among all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility. In addition to the team accolades, nine Trinity student-athletes earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors, which were bestowed on student-athletes who carried a minimum 3.30 GPA while also finishing the season in the top 50 individuals in an event, finishing in the top 35 relay teams nationally, or competing at NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championships.
The Tiger honorees were
Addison Doss (Sugar Land, Texas / Logos Prep),
Annabelle Lanik (Sugar Land, Texas / St. John's), and
Danya Selber (Edinburg, Texas / Robert Vela) from the women's team, along with
Bocar Diagana (Edina, Minn. / Edina),
Jackson Gallagher (Ft. Worth, Texas / Southwest Christian),
Pierce Jackson (Addison, Texas / Dallas Jesuit),
Nicolas Ladreyt (Santa Monica, Calif. / Harvard-Westlake School),

Both Trinity teams are led by Head Coach
Marcus Whitehead, who finished his 13th season in charge of the Tiger programs. He led the women's team to its 17th overall Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship this spring, earning the Coaching Staff of the Year title for the 18th time (men and women combined) in his career. Coach Whitehead also saw four Tigers earn All-American honors at this year's NCAA Outdoor Championships.
