LA CROSSE, Wisc. – Trinity University track & field senior
Bocar Diagana (Edina, Minn. / Edina) concluded his collegiate career with a 17th-place finish in the men's triple jump today at the NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championships.
Diagana's mark of 14.34m earned him 17th, his second-best ever finish at the National Championships. It's a bittersweet ending for him, as he falls just one spot short of a Second-Team All-American nod.
Diagana graduates as the school record holder in the men's indoor and outdoor triple jump. He's a six-time All-Conference jumper for the Tigers and a two-time Second-Team All-American. One of the most accomplished Trinity track and field athletes in program history, Diagana today's competition closed the book on an illustrious career.
Diagana also concluded the final meet of the Tigers' 2025-26 campaign, one which saw the program's first SAA titles in men's and women's cross country, as well as women's indoor track and field. They also earned two All-American nods for the second straight championship, also having done so indoors. As the Tigers look towards the fall and winter seasons, they do so building upon a very strong first year in the SAA.
