LA CROSSE, Wisc. – The Trinity University track & field relay team finished 14th in the 4x100-meter relay on Friday afternoon.
The Tiger team of
Nia Scott (Dickinson, Texas / Dickinson),
Brightly Thoning (Homer, Alaska / Homer),
Shifa Daredia (San Antonio, Texas / Johnson), and
Annabelle Lanik (Sugar Land, Texas / St. John's) posted a time of 47.58, which was just 0.67 from qualifying for the finals.
This marked Trinity's first women's track & field relay team to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
