Trinity Men's Golf kicks off the fall season with the White Bluff Tri Match. They are currently ranked 11th in the Bushnell/Golfweek DIII Coaches Preseason Poll.

In their 2024-2025 campaign, the Tiger Men won twice, capturing The SCAC Fall Preview and The Space City Classic, as well as finishing top 3 seven times, and gaining an at-large bid to compete in NCAA DIII Nationals in Rochester, NY. Head Coach Sean Eldridge was named the Golf Pride Region VII 2024-2025 golf coach of the year. There were three medalists in their eight tournaments: alumni Jacob Mason (Westminster, Colo / Holy Family), Sam Rossi (Los Angeles, Calif. / Loyola), and Carter Code (Calgary, Alberta, Canada / Manning). At SCAC championships four of the men earned All-SCAC honors. Code and Mason earned All-SCAC 1st team, Neel Sandhu (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) earned All-SCAC 2nd team, and Rossi earned All-SCAC honorable mention. Scouting the Course: The Old Course at White Bluff Resort in Whitney, Texas provides scenic and difficult holes that demand strategic shots and accuracy off the tee. The Old Course was recently recognized by Golf Pass as the #2 public course in the State of Texas. The course tips out at 6,866 yards, with a slope of 75.0, and is par 72. The back nine is highlighted by views of Lake Whitney and has several holes with elevation changes. Hole 12 is difficult because it plays uphill and requires a tee shot to carry water. No. 13 is a signature hole, a par 3 that overlooks a ravine, the lake, and introduces the creek that impacts play on the next few holes. Hole 14 requires an accurate tee shot in order to get around the corner of the dog-leg, and the green is protected by a creek, the second shot cannot be short.

Looking Ahead

The Tigers will be heading to the NCAA D-III Fall-Preview on Sunday, September 21 through Tuesday, September 23, playing at Mission Resort and Club in Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida.
