NEW ORLEANS – The Trinity University men's and women's track & field team had 27 student-athletes earn All-Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2025-26 indoor season.
There were 15 different Tiger women qualifying in 15 events and 12 Trinity men qualified across nine different events. Of the 27 qualifiers, there were 11 who received All-Region recognition in multiple events – seven women and four men. To earn the distinction, individuals had to finish in the top eight in their region during the season, while the region's top eight relay teams were also selected in each event.
Isabella Gaylord (San Antonio, Texas / Reagan),
Annabelle Lanik (Sugar Land, Texas / St. John's), and
Emerson Voldan (Arlington, Texas / Mansfield Summit) all earned All-Region honors in four events. All three were a part of at least one relay, including Gaylord and Lanik making up half of the 4x400-meter relay team. Gaylord and Voldan were both included with the distance medley relay team. Lanik also earned All-Region honors in the 60-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, and the long jump – the latter of which also qualified her for the NCAA Championships where she finished third. Gaylord also received recognition in the 400-meter dash and the long jump. Voldan qualified individually in the 800-meter run, the mile, and the 3,000-meter run.
Joining Gaylord and Lanik in the 4x400 relay were
Josette Gurule (Santa Fe, N.M. / Academy for Technology and the Classics) and
Halle Hamilton (Craig, Colo. / Moffat County), with Hamilton also joining Gaylord and Voldan in the DMR. Rounding out the DMR relay team was
Gianna Keena (Lakeway, Texas / Lake Travis). Keena and Gurule also received All-Region honors individually in the mile. The final multi-event All-Region honoree for the Tiger women was
Ciara Catton (Leander, Texas / Leander), who made the list in both the 800-meter run and the mile.
Scarlett Berthelot (Tomball, Texas / Tomball) joined Catton, Hamilton, and Voldan as an All-Region performer in the 800-meter event.
Sophia Munoz (Austin, Texas / Austin) and
Anne Snider (Waco, Texas / Live Oak Classical) both qualified for the award in the 5,000-meter run, while
Addison Doss (Sugar Land, Texas / Logos Preparatory Academy) and
Bridget Roth (Houston, Texas / Second Baptist) made the list in the pole vault.
Trinity Jefferson (Spring, Texas / Klein Oak) was honored in the weight throw,
Sophia Ortiz (Liberty Hill, Texas / Liberty Hill) was recognized in the high jump, and
Madeleine Seabolt (San Diego, Calif. / Mt. Carmel) garnered accolades in the shot put.
Trinity's men were led by
Jackson Gallagher (Ft. Worth, Texas / Southwest Christian) and
Thomas Melina Raab (Austin, Texas / McCallum), who received the All-Region award for three different events. Gallagher was part of the men's 4x400 relay and was joined by Melina Raab on the DMR team. Gallagher also qualified in the 400, while Melina Raab picked up additional awards in both the 800 and the mile.
Kyle Fix (Wilmette, Illinois / New Trier) was also a part of the DMR team and also doubled up with honors in the 800. The only other Tiger men's team member to qualify in more than one event was
Kaleem Howard (Jacksboro, Texas / Jacksboro), who was recognized in both the 60-meter hurdles and the long jump.
Rounding out the DMR team for Trinity was
Jesus Rojas (Houston, Texas / Ridge Point), while Gallagher was joined by
Ryan Forson (Dallas, Texas / Parish Episcopal School),
Hudson McCulley (Katy, Texas / St. Pius X), and
Price Schultea (Cypress, Texas / Cypress Christian) on the 4x400 relay team.
Elijah Bliss (Garden Ridge, Texas / Davenport) and
Nathaniel Trevino (San Antonio, Texas / Central Catholic) both earned the honor in the 5K, and
Kris Duggan (San Antonio, Texas / Johnson) joined Howard on the 60-meter hurdles list.
Bocar Diagana (Edina, Minn. / Edina) was recognized in the triple jump, for which he also qualified for nationals. He finished 16th at the NCAA Indoor Championships, picking up Second Team All-America accolades as well.
