Terre Haute, Ind. -- Trinity Tigers senior Hayley Emerick won two women's events over the weekend at the Rose-Hulman Diving Invitational.
Emerick, of Portland, Texas - the NCAA Division III 3-meter champion - won the 3-meter board late Saturday with a score of 510.5, and registered a 451.6 on the 1-meter.
Trinity divers captured the top four places on the 3-meter board. Following Emerick were first-year diver Katie Sheldon (West Chester, Pa.), 436.6; sophomore Ruth Hahn (Knoxville, Tenn)., 427.85; and sophomore Madison Kahler (Coral Springs, Fla.), 362.85.
The top three slots went to the Tigers on the 1-meter board: Emerick (451.6), Sheldon (409.75), and Hahn (405.85).
Senior Andrew Snead of Portland, Texas, placed fifth on the men's 1-meter and 3-meter events, registering 342.1 and 347.2, respectively. Jack Foreman, a senior from Friendswood, Texas, was sixth on the 3-meter (329.25) and seventh on the 1-meter (300.6).
