Men's Swimming and Diving 18th on December CSCAA Top 25 Poll

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently released the Top 25 Poll for Division III. The Men, which were ranked 25 in the November Poll moved up to No. 18 in the December Poll. 

In the Tigers lone meet since the last ranking came out, Trinity finished first of five teams with a team score of 1139. University of Texas at Permian Basin finished in second place with a total score of 984. Over the three day event, the Tigers won many individual and relay events. 

Sophomore Michael Kohl (Missouri City, Texas / Ridge Point) earned his first SCAC Swimmer of the Week award and sophomore Konstantine Partalas (San Antonio, Texas / Reagan) won his second SCAC Diver of the Week award this season after their dominating performances in the Tiger Invite. In all, four different Tigers have won SCAC Swimmer or Diver of the Week awards. 

Looking ahead to the Spring semester, Trinity will host Oklahoma Christian University in a dual meet that will take place January 7th, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in the Hixon Natatorium. The Tigers will also take on the University of Incarnate Word and Southwestern University in the last two meets of the regular season.
