Trinity's Brush Places Fourth in the NCAA Men's 800 Final

Berea, Ohio – Trinity University Tigers junior Zach Brush placed fourth Saturday in the 800-meters final of the NCAA Division III Men's Track and Field Outdoor Championships at Baldwin-Wallace College.

Brush, from Edmond, Okla. (Edmond North), completed the event in 1:52.91. He was just .12 seconds behind third-place finisher Adam Lang of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Second place went to Emmanuel Bofa of Whitworth (1:50.43), and the winner was Max Hanson of Gustavus Adolphus (1:49.50).

A three-time All-American, Brush placed fifth in the 2008 race as a freshman. Earlier this year, Brush was a member of Trinity's distance medley relay team which finished second in the nation, at the NCAA Indoor Championships.

The Tiger men's and women's teams are led by second-year head coach David Svoboda.
