Trinity's Wildman Elected to Academic All-America Team for Second Straight Year

San Antonio – Trinity University's Todd Wildman has been elected to the ESPN The Magazine College Division Men's Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-America Team for the second consecutive year.

Wildman, from Dallas (Jesuit), is a recent graduate of Trinity who majored in business administration (accounting). He earned a 4.0 grade point average in his first semester as a graduate student, while making the Dean's List numerous times throughout undergrad.

The talented Wildman is a two-time national champion, winning the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Pentathlon Championship in 2009 and 2010.  He won numerous Regional Runner-of-the-Year Awards and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championships.This year, Wildman was awarded with the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. He was also given the Trinity Award for Student Achievement in Scholastics and Athletics.

Voting is conducted nationwide by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The Tiger men's and women's track and field teams are led by second-year head coach David Svoboda.
