San Antonio -- Trinity University's Ryan Kilpatrick and Laura Campbell have been named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Track and Field All-Sportsmanship Teams, respectively.
 
The SCAC honors student-athletes who exhibit sportsmanship throughout the year.
 
 Kilpatrick (Oklahoma City/Casady School), a junior, registered personal-best times in the 200 meters (24.74) and 400-meter (53.34) events.
 
 Campbell (Victoria, Texas/Memorial), a sophomore, had an outstanding season in three field events: shot put (8.57 meters, 28.12 feet), discus (26.39 meters, 86.58 feet), and the javelin (19.04 meters, 62.47 feet).
 
Head track and field Coach David Svoboda credits Kilpatrick and Campbell for helping their teammates to successful seasons. The Tiger men placed third at the SCAC Championships at Memphis, and Trinity's women finished fourth. 
 
The Tigers captured seven individual titles at the SCAC meet.
