Box Score Trinity athletes competed at the University of Incarnate Word
Last Chance Meet as well as the Dr.Keeler Invite in Naperville.
In San Antonio, First year Kelsey Oelze won the javelin with a
throw of 38.40m (126-00). Her mark places her fourth on
Trinity's top 10 records and is her personal best. Sophomore
Elana Edwards jumped 1.58m (5'2.25) for a second place finish
in the high jump. Freshman Jessie Dean ran the open 400m in 59.74,
a personal best, which puts her seventh all time. Senior Caitlin
Masse finished first in the 10,000m with a time of 38:21.76.
On the men's side Freshman George Warren jumped 1.90m
(6'02.75) for a first place finish. Senior Guss Hoff threw
the javelin in 48.67m coming in second. Senior Zach Brush finished
fourth in the 800m with a time of 1:54.39. Seniors Adam Cribb and
James Woolley competed in the 3000m steeplechase running 10:13.97
and 10:24.56 respectively, both capturing a personal best in the
event.
Competing at the Dr. Keeler meet in Naperville, IL were
Sophomores Pancho Escobedo and Sal Perdomo. Escobedo finished
30th overall with a time of 15:21.37 while Perdomo
finished 36th with a time of 15:31.64. Freshman Rosemary
Steup competed in the 5000m finishing 10th overall with
a new personal best time of 17:48.95. Her time places her fifth all
time.
