Box Score San Antonio, TX- The Tigers held their last home meet of the season today at the Trinity Last Stand.
Sophomore George Warren jumped his season best in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.94 meters. First year Ian Plantz placed third in the 800 meter run, coming in at 1:58.92. Senior Ryan Gill threw a season best in the shot put with a mark of 10.96 meters.
On the women's side, sophomore Jessie Dean ran a personal best in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 64.52 seconds. This time puts her third all-time in the Trinity record books. Junior Elana Edwards competed in the high jump, placing fifth with a jump of 1.53 meters to close out the season.
In other action, at the Dr. Keeler meet in North Central College, junior Sal Perdomo ended his season on a high note with a five second personal best - breaking his own school record - in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. His time of 9:24.78 placed him 16th overall at the highly competitive meet. Next up for the Tigers, seniors Ryan Gill and Corey Callahan will compete at the Gregory Invite, hosted by North Central College on Tuesday and Wednesday. Gill will compete in the decathlon, while Callahan will compete in the heptathlon.
