San Antonio - Trinity Tiger Will Paulus has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week.

Paulus produced exemplary performances in the 200 and 400 meter events at last week's University of the Incarnate Word Invitational in San Antonio. The competitive field included athletes from all NCAA Divisions.

The Tiger senior had personal-best times in both events. Paulus ran the 200 in 22.35 seconds, and the 400 in 49.20 seconds, for a sixth-place finish. He is currently ranked No. 36 in the 400 in the national Division III standings.

Trinity's men and women will compete in the Mt. Sac Relays this weekend at Walnut, California. The Tigers will defend their conference titles by hosting the SCAC Championships April 25-26 at the Trinity Track and Field Stadium.
