San Antonio - Trinity junior Cody Wolfe and sophomore George Warren have been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Each Tiger student-athlete turned in exemplary performances last week at the Skecher's Carl Kight Invitational at Nacogdoches, Texas. The meet was hosted by Stephen F. Austin State University, and consisted of a number of NCAA Division I athletes.

Wolfe produced a personal-best time of 22.66 seconds in the 200-meters, which also leads the SCAC. His finishing time placed him 18th in the race.

Warren was named Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. He competed in the high jump at Nacogdoches and recorded a mark of 1.98 meters, tying for sixth place. Warren also was part of the 4x400-meter relay team which finished 12th, clocking in at 3:25.03.

The Tiger men and women will compete Friday and Saturday in the UIW (University of the Incarnate Word) Invitational in San Antonio.
