Tyler, Texas - The Trinity Tigers men swept the “A” singles and doubles titles at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Championships at the University of Texas-Tyler on Monday.

Junior Adam Krull, the tournament's No. 2 singles seed, beat eighth-seeded Casjen Rico of McMurry University 6-2, 6-2 in the final. In the doubles championship, involving only Trinity players, the No. 4 team of seniors Jordan Mayer and Aaron Skinner outfought the second-seeded tandem of Paxton Deuel and Krull 3-6, 6-2, 14-12 to claim the title.

Krull, who transferred from Xavier University, earned the right to compete in the USTA/ITA National Small College Championships October 9-12 at Sumter, South Carolina. Mayer and Skinner will represent Trinity in the doubles event.

In Monday's singles semifinals, Krull beat Skinner, the 2012 Regional and National Small College champion, by a score of 6-2, 6-3. Rico beat defending champion Deuel  also by a 6-2, 6-3 mark.

Joining their male counterparts at the National Small College Championships will be Tiger sophomore Liza Southwick and first-year player Marie Lutz, who won the Regional women's doubles crown September 21 at the Butch Newman Tennis Center.
