The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Playoffs, and defeated Wilkes (PA) University and the host University of Mary Washington at Fredericksburg, Virginia. In fact, Krull won No. 1 singles against Mary Washington and propelled the Tigers to the NCAA Team Championship at the Ohio site.
Middlebury (CN) College beat Trinity 5-2 in the quarterfinals of the team tournament, and the Tigers completed the season with a 19-9 overall record, and a 15-3 mark against Division III teams. For his part, Krull wrapped up the dual-match campaign with a 14-7 singles record. The Tigers are led by sixth-year Head Coach Russell McMindes.
