Box Score San Antonio - The Trinity women's track & field team turned in superb performances in a tri-meet with the College of St. Benedict (MN), and Tufts (MA) University on Wednesday.
"First, I want to thank St. Benedict and Tufts for coming down and doing this meet with us," said Head Coach Marcus Whitehead. "I know our women's program really appreciated it, and they pushed us to several season bests for the year. It was fun to watch the team compete today in a meet where all the events were really competitive and well-balanced. A mid-week meet is a change of pace for us, but I thought our women were prepared for it. I thought Britney, Bailey and Katie were all highlights today with big victories in their events. We had several other girls with season and personal bests - really too many to mention. We hope to continue to do some smaller invite meets with quality Division III programs like St. Benedict and Tufts."

Nkolika Nweke was a third-place finisher in the 100 meters (12.91 seconds), while Abigail Schneebeck was third in the 100-meter hurdles, at 16.03 seconds.
