San Antonio - Trinity's Britney Sullivan has been elected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

The Tiger junior posted a season-best mark of 11.78 meters in the triple jump last week at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. Sullivan's jump is currently ranked eighth in the NCAA Division III.

Sullivan finished in a tie for fifth place in the triple jump, in a field of nearly 50 competitors at Azusa Pacific University. The meet consisted of many NCAA Division I student-athletes.

Trinity's men's and women's teams will host the SCAC Track & Field Championships April 28-29. The Tigers are the defending conference champions.
