Hall and Nweke Highlight Second Day at Track & Field Nationals

Geneva, Ohio - Trinity's Cody Hall advanced to the men's 110-meter hurdles final, and Nkolika Nweke finished 16th in the women's 100 meters at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

Hall ran the men's 110-meter hurdles in a personal-best-time of 14.28 seconds, finishing in fourth place in the preliminaries.

With a performance that is the second-fastest in school history, Hall also qualifies for Saturday's 110-meter hurdles final.

He entered the NCAAs as the seventh-seed in the 110-meter hurdles, with a time of 14.40 seconds.

Hall finished ninth at Nationals last year, just missing a slot in the finals.

Nweke ran the 100 meters in 12.35 seconds in the prelims, and finished 16th in the event. She was the #17 seed, coming in at 12.04 seconds.

 

UP NEXT

Hall will compete in the men's 110-meter hurdles finals at 1:00 p.m. EDT time Saturday.

Britney Sullivan and Ayriel Coleman are set for the women's triple jump prelims and finals at 1:30 p.m.
