Rome, Georgia - The third-seeded Trinity men's doubles team of Wilson Lambeth and Jordan Pitts was eliminated from the main draw of the Division III ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Cup Thursday at the Rome Tennis Center.

HIGHLIGHTS

Lambeth and Pitts won the first set 6-3 from Patrick Whaling and Chase Johnson of Gustavus Adolphus (MN) College, lost the second 6-4, and came up short in a tiebreaker 10-5.

Earlier in the day, the Trinity duo completed a rain-suspended play-in match from Wednesday, defeating Will Leach and Keaten Baker of George Fox (OR) University 6-4, 7-5.

Lambeth and Pitts will compete in the consolation semifinals against the second-seeded duo of Tyler Raclin and Jeremy Yuan of the University of Chicago (IL) on Friday at 1:30 p.m. EDT.
