San Antonio - Trinity junior Wilson Lambeth and sophomore Jordan Pitts have been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.

The Tiger tandem went 2-1 last week in the #1 position as 13th-ranked Trinity took on NCAA Division III teams in Washington. Trinity went 1-2 on its road trip, starting off with a loss to 11th-ranked University of Redlands (CA). The Tigers bounced back to defeat Lewis & Clark (OR) College and finished with a loss to #14 Whitman (WA) College.

Lambeth and Pitts claimed #1 doubles victories over Redlands and Lewis & Clark, while losing the finale to Whitman. Trinity's top doubles team stands at 2-2 this season.

Trinity (1-4) will host two dual matches this weekend. First up is a match with Division II member St. Edward's (TX) University at 4:00 p.m. Friday. The Tigers then meet Laredo (TX) Community College, ranked sixth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Junior College Poll, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
