Box Score 2 St. Peter, Minnesota – Trinity's 13th-ranked men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat at the hands of second-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CA) Colleges at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Team Indoor Championships.
HIGHLIGHTS
Trinity fell to 2-6 on the season, while Claremont remained undefeated at 5-0.
Claremont started with a sweep in doubles to jump out to a quick lead. Wilson Lambeth and Jordan Pitts took a narrow 8-6 loss at line one doubles that made it a 2-0 match at the time.
Each of the singles contests were in straight-sets. Lambeth lost 6-4, 6-1 at line three in the clincher, while Jace Akagi-Okuma fell 6-4, 6-2 in the two closest singles matches of the day.
